Frugi, which started out as Cut4Cloth, continues to market their clothing as being designed to fit over a cloth nappy. As such, it was only a matter of time before they ventured into their own line of cloth, which is something loyal customers have pressed Frugi founders, Kurt and Lucy Jewson, about over the years. Tots Bots’ Fiona King extended the offer to make the nappies, under the guidance of Frugi, after they met at a trade show last year. Lucy Jewson said “ What we’ve done is add a little Frugi magic to TotsBots perfection to create something truly unique and special.”
For those of you who know and love Tots Bots, you will notice that these are the latest, most popular range of Easyfits (minky lined) with a stylish twist. Available in 4 quintessentially Frugi prints, they are retailing for £16.99 each and are currently available to preorder here.
As a Frugi fan, myself, I have to admit that I am a little disappointed that these won’t be organic nappies but I do like the prints and Tots Bots are a fantastic, ethical company located right here in the UK. I think they have picked the right company for the job and hope to see them expand the new range in time.
