For my heavy wetter, these will go maybe 2 hours before becoming completely saturated. For a more normal wetter these would be just fine for 3-4 hours which is about the maximum amount of time a baby should be left in a nappy. The lovely Dawn, of Bright Star Baby has informed me that they also sell a hemp booster for super heavy wetters!
I was quite surprised that these contained the moisture so well, given how saturated the soaker was. The inside of the nappy is lined with the same fabric that the soaker is made from and goes right to the edge of the legs so I was expecting a disaster but not even a hint of wicking thanks to the great fit around the legs and waterproof outer fabric.
Around 10 hours on an airer was enough to get the nappy dry for us, as the soaker snaps out and unfolds to facilitate faster drying time.
This nappy is incredibly trim and is soft and narrow in the crotch which is fantastic for our toddler as wider nappies tend to rub her thighs, especially if they wick. You wouldn’t know they were wearing a nappy with clothes on which is fab!
Could do with some boosting for heavy wetters which bumps up the price a little more.
Value for Money
These are actually cheaper by a little bit if you get them posted directly from the US and, for anyone with a light-medium wetter, are well worth the investment. The fabrics are great quality and the product is well thought out.
A great, trim little nappy in a range of lovely prints.
